Christmas Party 2008

The Christmas Party is an annual event for nominated and invited beneficiaries. Last year there were over 100 children with special needs from around the Northeast. The party was held in Passion Night Club, Sunderland. The venue for this year remains the same.

At the party the children are entertained with a magician and his animals, balloon artiste, disco and buffet. The finale brings the surprise guest Santa Claus along to give out goody bags.

The gifts in the goody bags are donated by businesses from around the Northeast. Items in the goody bags include party hats, colouring books and selection boxes. Any goody bags left are given to the hospitals, hospices and special needs units in the Northeast. In the last 2 years, over 1000 children have received a goody bag.

Easter Eggs 2009

Gentoo donated 176 Easter Eggs to Hope 4 Kidz to give special needs children and groups. The eggs were given to The Young Carers Association, Snip and others.

The young are our hope for the future but so many young persons who suffer from severe illness or disability may look forward only to a future of pain, greater frustration and despair and failing hope. For these young people, the greatest gift we can give is to relieve the pain, ease the frustration and despair and return the hope

Equipment for learning and leisure can help to alleviate some if not many of the problems experienced by young persons with severe illness or disability. In some cases this requires rare and expensive equipment, in others, additional use of equipment or facilities may be all that is required. In either case our aim is to ensure that as much as possible of this equipment or facilities is available and so assist the relief of pain, the easing of frustration and despair and the raising of hope in the future.

Your gift or support gives children and young people with special needs who suffer daily with pain, and /or hardship the hope and courage to look to the future. Help children and young people with special needs to see the joy and excitement life can bring.
